How loud is 130 Decibels?

How do I use this device?

When you receive your Self Defence Alarm it will come with operating instructions and a diagram of each of the buttons/features.
To activate the Alarm: Simply press the SOS button twice quickly or pull the Keychain pin firmly. Once activated the light will flash and the siren will sound continuously until deactivated.
The siren comes from a speaker on the back of the device, keep this speaker uncovered and pointed toward the target.
The Self Defence Alarm also has a convenient torch for non-emergency use. There is a button on the side of the device to turn on and off the torch without activating the Alarm.
Once activated how do I deactivate the Alarm?

*The same method used to activate the Alarm must be used to deactivate it.*
If activated by pressing the SOS button twice deactivate it by holding down the SOS button for 3 seconds.
If activated by pulling the keychain deactivate it by pressing the keychain pin back in. *Note to prevent dropping the device and to make it easier to deactivate the Keychain does not fully detach from the device.
How are false alarms prevented?

The device is designed to be easy to use in an emergency but not be set off by accident.
The SOS button is recessed below the body of the Alarm so it can't be accidentally pressed when carried in a pocket or bag.
The Keychain pin requires a firm tug so it can be safely attached to clothing, a bag, or a keychain without accidentally activating.
How long does the battery last?

When you receive your Alarm it will have a partial charge. Charge before first use.

*The Alarm is loudest when fully charged. When not being used the battery will slowly deplete over time (6 months). For optimal performance charge the device at least every couple of months.
