Meet Adrian Ellis and Annie. Adrian supports Annie as a mentor on the International MHA mentoring programme here at The Manchester Metropolitan University.During Annie's mentoring journey, Adrian has been a beacon source of support to Annie. When Annie was asked about her mentoring experience, she said, “Adrian, General Manager of The Lowry Hotel and Chairman of the Manchester Hotel Association, has been an inspiring mentor during my time under his guidance. His passion, professionalism, and dedication to the hospitality industry have been both motivating and enlightening. Adrian's invaluable support has helped me navigate academic challenges and discuss my career aspirations. His insightful answers and solutions have broadened my perspective, shaping my decisions and contributing significantly to my professional growth. A standout moment was experiencing 'A Day in the Life as a GM' at The Lowry Hotel, where I gained firsthand insight into hotel management, strategic decision-making, and daily responsibilities.
